I didn't mind him. Without Dean Travers we wouldn't have had "The Bake-Off", one of the all-time best episodes.

i never wanted to see a character get hit in the face with a pie so much as Dean Travers.

He was a bit of a perv but I didn't mind him as much, I never felt he was annoying.

Dean Travers was hilarious. I think the actor knew exactly how ridiculous his character was supposed to be and delivered. He was Jack's first real "nemesis" (apart from Mr. Roper), so Travers wasn't supposed to be a good guy. But he was funny.

I think Travers was funnier than Angelino, who seemed like an actual *****, but maybe that's because Angelino held some real sway in Jack's life so his threats seemed more sinister.

I agree, Travers is less sinister than Angelino.
