I just saw the previews for it yesterday and it's gonna be coming on TNT network soon. I might check it out but i forgot what day it comes on and at what time. The white man who's playing Jason Statham, i've never seen him before. You know about this JamesG?

"Transporter: The Series" Ratings OK for TNT Debut
by Dominic Patten
October 23, 2014

It didn’t break any land speed ratings records but the small screen version of the Luc Besson fast car film franchise certainly revved things up for TNT.

"Transporter: The Series" drew 1.3 million total viewers for its 9 PM October 18 debut episode on the cabler. That premiere was followed by another new episode at 10 PM that pulled in 1.2 million total viewers.

Now that Saturday night result is about half of the 2.26 million that the last original episode of AMC’s quiet workhorse "Hell on Wheels" got in the same time slot on October 4.

However, the original "Transporter" series is a nice jump up from the movie that TNT showed in the same slots on October 11. From 8 PM – 10:30 PM, 2005’s "War of the Worlds" had 846,000 viewers.

With "Rizzoli & Isles" regular Chris Vance taking over the professional transporter and driver Frank Martin role that Jason Statham played in the movies, "Transporter: The Series" got 479,000 and 426,000 in the adults 25-54 demo.

Over two plays, episode 1 had 2 million total viewers while episode 2 had 1.6 million for an average of 1.8 million. The back-to-back episodes garnered 673,000 adults in the 25-54 demo.

TNT acquired both already produced seasons of "Transporter" earlier this year. The Toronto shot and internationally set show’s first season has already aired in 185 countries around the world.

"Transporter: The Series" is produced by Atlantique’s Olivier Bibas and QVF’s Susan Murdoch in association with The Movie Network and Movie Central in Canada and M6 in France.

Season 2 showrunner Frank Spotnitz, Vance and Fred Fuchs also serve as EPs.
