This is the sequel to the restaurant franchise, but rather than just department stores...this includes electronic stores, hardware stores, auto stores, and grocery stores to name a few.

I hear about Pep Boys a lot in my area, but there's none in Cleveland! Luxury Department Stores like Nieman Marcus aren't even in Ohio! Meijer hasn't reached Cleveland yet.

This can also include stores that were once in your area, I knew that Cleveland once had Kroger and Tops.

And defunct stores like Woolworths and Just Closeouts...I miss those places!

In 1993 Meijer was planning to build a store in Broadview Heights.

Kroger's had a store in Eastlake, and there was a Topps store at the corner of Mayfield and SOM Center roads in Mayfield Heights.

I know Tops was around Cleveland until 2006 when the economy was about to collapse...Tops focused more on their other stores in Pennsylvania, New York, and Vermont.

I wish Finast would return!

I remember Finast when I was living in mentor, and there was one on E. 185th St. in Cleveland near where my cousins live.

I'd actually wish Circuit City would come back. They always seemed to have electronics at reasonable prices.

Also, probably, in my area, I'd like to see Caldor's and Bradlees back.

I also miss Silverman's Department Store, there's only two locations now in Cleveland but there was more than that when I was growing up.

Ryan, if you ever visit Vancouver, I will treat you to a Slurpee!

Canadian Slurpees are much better than the ones I tried in the States. Mind you the only Slurpees I have had in the States were from Las Vegas, and that was 10 years ago. I don't know what you do in the States, but the Slurpees were all foam, and I gagged on them. :(

You're bringing back lots of memories!:D My Mom was big into collecting Blue Chip Stamps, Newberry's was another great store with a coffee shop inside.

Maybe Woolworth's can come back as through making sandwiches available at your supermarket.

What killed Woolworth's is...Wal-Mart! I sooooo hate that store, Wal-mart! ohno:ohno:ohno:ohno:ohno:

And I'll take the egg salad sandwich. 30 cent sandwich sounds good to me!

Ill have a chicken salad sandwich, tulip sundae and cup of coffee. I wish Woolworths was back in society. We had one in a nearby city, but the time I was old enough to go on my own, the place closed up. The stores of yesterday seem to have everything that one needed. Not a huge variety like todays store, but you have enough. You could do your shopping, push your cart to the side and have lunch and possibly meet your neighbor.

Me too!! Our Kmart closed down a few months ago! :( I wish by some miracle it would reopen ! Also I wish our Sears which closed down years ago would suddenly reopen again! ;)

But something more feasible would be if a Wal Mart would open near me!;) The Wal Marts here are kind of far from me, I can't get there too much!

I’m very fortunate that he one’s that’d be on my wish list are already here: Trader Joe’s, Michael’s, Bed Bath and Beyond= pretty much any great chain you’d want is here in NYC- or at worst about an hour away by subway to train.

Well my days of pigging out at McDonalds are long gone. As a mild diabetic McDonsld’s is like a skull and crossbones to me. Outside of coffee, the last real food I had in there was on Oct 27, 2011. But I gotta admit, sometimes I really jones for a McD fish sandwich, fries and a strawberry shake.

^1972...that was 10 years before I was born. My fondest memories of McD is playing on the playground and seeing all the McDonaldland characters which both sadly don’t exist anymore.

Chick-Fil-A is a great place...but some cities don't want them because of their moral issues...they don't know what they're missing!

Heard Chick-Fil-A’s food is terrific. When I’m ready to have a splurge day, I’m going to check them out.
