for the past 2+ decades of my existence ALL ive ever known TBS to be about was Atlanta Braves baseball, leftover NBA games and now i see them as the huge syndication giant with Seinfeld and Family Guy.

American Dad is going to be a huge staple on this network now. it's on what, season 11 now? i don't see why it cant go to 15, the writing has been top notch for years now. i even know people who hate family guy but somehow love american dad. go figure right?

Viewership figures for the first episode of American Dad! on TBS: 1.1 million for the original airing, 1.4 million for encore on Adult Swim. More viewers actually watched the encore than the initial airing. 2.5 million viewers total.

Another thing: Sorry about that "end/cease production permanently" comment I made on the "American Dad Will Move to TBS in Late 2014" thread and initially objecting to / doubting the planned AD! network change at first (and doubting any success the show may have on the cable channel).

I'm sure hoping that it'll last a few more years. Think of the shows that run forever that are half as good.
