View Full Version : What do you think happened to Klink and Schultz after the war? paul.austin 10-16-2014, 05:06 AM As Klink was dropped through the hangman's trap, all that could be heard was an echoing "HO-GAAN!". Yong Fang 10-16-2014, 07:54 AM Shultz was secretly against the war and was not a member of the Nazi Party. He even made a reference to that. Then there was the "I know nothing, I see nothing bit....." which made it known that Shultz was just doing time there so he does not have to go to the Russian front (like a 60 year old, obese guy would last long in real fighting anyway....) Shultz's family also owned a toy conglomerate, which may or may not have survived the war. But in real life, a lot of German soldiers and officers, went into private life in West Germany and did well. Klink was just a commander of a prison camp, and did not commit atrocities. He was a nobody and also not a member of the Nazi party, but was from the old order Germans from the Kaiser days. Again, if Klink went west to the American lines and got captured, he would have been interrogated and repatriated, and would have been an incompetant businessman or banker, or maybe working in Shultz's toy company. If the Russians got him, he would have been dead, or wished he was. robyrob 10-16-2014, 09:24 AM i like to think that the two of them got married and opened up a quaint little flower shop in West Berlin. antoniod 07-09-2016, 09:45 AM Schultz was interrogated at Nuremberg, and his reply was "I know nothing" Chip J 02-10-2018, 02:15 AM If Poobla's Crossovers and Spin-Offs page is correct then Klink wound up in Gotham City where he popped up while Batman and Robin were climbing up the building. He didn't appear as the actor; he appeared as his character. Granted, it's a throw away joke, but the justification he gives for why Batman, Robin and Klink were in the same time and city is hilarious! paul.austin 02-10-2018, 05:32 PM There's a wonderful fanfiction with Klink and Hogan as old men witnessing the Fall of the Berlin Wall. |
