CBS Renews "Under the Dome"

CBS has renewed summer show "Under the Dome" for its third season, the network announced on Thursday.
"We're committed to delivering our viewers and advertisers year-round programming with a wide variety of storytelling," CBS Entertainment Chairman Nina Tassler said in a statement. "We continue to see summer as a great place for unique concepts, innovative business models and passionate television audiences."
Stephen King's "Under the Dome", about a group of residents who survive an apocalypse, was the network's top summer scripted series with 11 million weekly viewers.
