(I think maybe this was written here before..???) Has anyone noticed how similar the sets for these 2 shows are? Chico went off the air originally in 1978, and that fall, Taxi came on. I wonder if they made a few changes to the Chico set and used it for Taxi. Of course, Taxi was on ABC, so maybe not. I saw the Chico set in summer of 1975, when I was 8, when our family took a tour of the NBC studios. I remember seeing Redd Foxx walking down a hall, but noone from Chico.

Wow, didn't realize TAXI was on ABC. I was thinking they were on NBC but my mind is so forgetful LOL! I wonder if after CATM went off if maybe TAXI borrowed the old CATM sets. Then again SNFORD was still using them...

I seem to remember that Taxi originally aired on one network, then switched to another. Either it started on ABC and moved to NBC or vice versa. Can anyone help us out with this???

I think you may be right. You've vaguely triggered a memory. The 70's were along time ago & my old brain ain't as sharp as it used to be LOL!
