Hi guys

For the last couple weeks I've been doing all I can to encourage participation in this forum. Barring Facebook fan pages, this really is the last active CA forum on the internet. I'm asking the diehard CA fans here to step-up and please participate in this forum with any topic you want. I feel like I'm all by myself here.

Thanks! :)

I'm not really a fan per se but I don't dislike Charlie's Angels either! But I will post with you. ;)

Besides the original four ladies, Kate, Jaclyn, Farrah and Cheryl what did you think of the later Angels?

I wish I could find more people to post with me on the Chips forum!!! Esp. girls like me who love Erik / Ponch! :)

I assume you mean Shelley Hack and Tanya Roberts. To be completely honest, I stopped watching the show after Kate left, but I have seen a few episodes with them. I thought their "acting" was sub-par. For some reason I found it much easier to accept Cheryl replacing Farrah than Shelley replacing Kate. I think a lot of fans felt that way too because the ratings started dropping fast in the 4th season. I have to give Jackie and Cheryl a lot of credit for sticking with the show those last few years. The scripts were pretty bad.

Regarding Ponch... when CHIPS was popular there was a guy that drove a bus (public trans) through my neighborhood at the time. He had the Ponch get up down pat... mirrored sunglasses, same hair, same looks. The school girls went absolutely bonkers over him. After a few months he got transferred to another route and I never saw him again. The girls were sad

Yeah All the people I knew that liked Charlie's Angels and watched it all the time back than sort of lost interest towards the end. I didn't realize kate Jackson had left the show. I was thinking she was the only original one till the end. But yeah, it was Jaclyn Smith that was the only original. No wonder you didn't like it Mood ring, your favorite girl leaving! :(

I remember Tanya Roberts played Donna's mother in That 70's show! :D

Wouldn't that have been cool if Charlie's Angels made a guest appearance on Chips or the other way around? They were both on TV the same years. I think Charlie's Angels was supposed to take place in LA right? They could have had a guest star ep like that. Where Ponch and Jon had to help the angels nab some criminals or something! Would have been fun!!! ;)

I agree. It would have drawn more ratings simply based on curiosity. I don't know who developed Chips, but don't think Spelling/Goldberg productions was involved. The only other show that the Angels appeared on was the pilot of "The San Pedro Beach Bums", but it was canceled only after 10 episodes.

Robert Urich (aka~Dan Tanna) appeared at the end of the CA episode "Angels in Vegas" in 1978, which was really an intro for his show "Vegas". Kelly and Kris were smitten with him... Sabrina, not so much.

Today I watched "Pom Pom Angels." Great episode! I knew something was going to happen before that crazy lady got a chance to cut Kris' hair. :)

I have a newbie question:

1. Where is the room with the bar that they show the girls in at the beginning and end of each episode? Do they live together?

Cheryl was absolutely gorgeous in this episode. Her hair, her make up and lighting was perfect.

That is the (Charlie) Townsend Agency office. This is where they all discuss the case and make the plans before taking any action.

The outside of this "office" is in Beverly Hills on 189 Robertson St right around the corner from the famous Rodeo Dr. Here is what it looks like today...

I agree! Cheryl was so glamorous, even in overalls. I love how wholesome and healthy looking women in general looked in the 70s.

Cool! Thanks for the information. :)

I'm really loving this show!!! I should have watched it sooner.
