Christine Lakin was recently on the Pod Meets World podcast (https://www.reddit.com/r/boymeetsworld/comments/xugtr4/pod_meets_world_episode_28_christine_lakin_meets/) about Boy Meets World. For those who don't know or remember, back in 1996, Brandon Call was shot in both of his arms in a drive-by shooting (https://people.com/tv/step-by-step-christine-lakin-talks-brandon-call-driveby-shooting-exit-from-hollywood/).

But Christine believes that having to go through such a traumatic, life altering ordeal is what lead to Brandon's exit from Hollywood (http://washedupcelebrities.blogspot.com/2007/08/brandon-call.html) and the public spotlight after Step by Step ended in 1998.
