This show really sucked the Producers and Writers were just try to make a Married With Children. the only part they left out was the humor. MWC was actually funny while this show just wasn't. This show was just about Nikki running around barely clothed and the worst part was when the men in the audiece hollared when ever a pretty girl came out. who ever watched this crap and enjoyed it are morons.

C'mon, you didn't like the talking bunny?

;)

It's bad enough when other networks copy another's hit show, but when your own network makes a clone of "Married WIth Children" you know the people in charge can't be trusted...

Married With Children and Unhappily Ever After didn't air on the same network. Married With Children aired on FOX and Unhappily Ever After aired on the WB. The two series were produced by the same people so that might explain the similarity.

My mistake. I thought both aired on FOX.

Still, a clone is a clone.

I mean, some networks tried to copy "Friends" with shows about a group of twentysomethings. But "Unhappily" had the same friggin characters as "Married With Children!"

The slutty girl in tight clothes
The peverted son who couldn't score with girls.
The Fathers who hate their lives and their families (Christ, the two actors who played the Dads even looked alike!).

Even the sets looked alike!!!

There were slight differences between the two shows.
-The 'slutty' daughter was actually smart, and not slutty, but actually a gold digging virgin. ("I'll only trade purity for financial security")
-The horny son who can't get laid was the stupid one
-The father was an insane alcoholic
-The show, for the most part, focused on the kids and not Jack (as it was originally supposed to)
and so on. But yes, it is obviously meant as a ripoff.
