I do not remember this case. I don't think it was a UM case. I looked through the episode guide on this forum, and the UM wiki, but I did not find it. It was on America's Most Wanted.

I disagree. but ok.
I think perhaps you are confusing this case with Sabrina Aisenberg?

Over at the dailymail (tabloid) news site, you wouldn't believe how many people in the comments are taking the mom's side! (They did that in the the Savanna Todd case too, but she was found in Australia, and they have a big Aussie readership who felt the girl had been raised in a healthy environment, had turned out fine, so all should be forgotten.)
But anyway, this woman who took her daughter Sabrina to Mexico for twelve years, apparently had lost full custody to the husband and had visitations with her daughter. She kidnapped her, moved around a lot in mexico, dyed her hair, changed their names, at this point seems she kept her out of school for years, and poisoned her mind against her father so badly that she doesn't want to see him or his family. She even told her that her father was dead/committed suicide? And of course, trotted out the "he was abusive" line, which I don't think was likely since he was given full custody of the baby.
It's just crazy to me that people can support a mother doing this to her child. She abused her daughter and robbed her of a life knowing her father, grandparents, and other relatives, not to mention the lies, the denying her identity, the lack of schooling....

I also think the OP is confusing this with the Sabrina Aisenberg case. She was on UM but the girl they just found never had a segment done on her case to my knowledge.

No I'm not . I know the Sabrina Eisenberg case. She has not been found yet. Poor Savanna she could not be happy in the life with her mother. And was lied to about her dad. The mother should be a shamed of herself. Just like that other Savannah case that was on unsolved mysteries and the mother was living with her in Australia. The daughter stood by her mother the whole time she was sentenced. Another daughter brainwashed against her father.

I disagree. but ok.
I am happy to change my mind, I'm just telling you I didn't find it in any of the UM archives. In either case, I'm happy she was found.

I mint Savannah Todd , both her and Sabrina Allen were brain washed against their dads. I'm glad both were found too. :)

kind of similar to the Maples/Baskins.....brainwashing and lies are the only similarities though

And I think that is what happened with Chance Wackerhagen too.

That is definitely one of the theories I have on his case.
It's so easy for the abducting parent of a young child to convince them that the other parent is bad, abusive, doesn't love them anymore, has died, etc. Because the child loves and trusts the parent and will believe the lies that the abducting mom/dad tells them.
