The creature on the cover of The House Where Death Lives was taken from Sam Raimi's Evil Dead II.

I noticed it has the Region 2 sticker on it...

Not only did Through The Fire(aka The Gates Of Hell II) copy the art from Funeral Home, but look at the tagline.

Okay, this was probably done as an homage, the same way the various posters for Gutterballs (2008) paid homage to different horror posters from the past, and both Gutterballs and The Sleeper (2012) are retro horror films.
