I remember watching Dana play the Madona like character on a "Growing Pains" rerun in 1988, I believe it was. That show is going to be aired on the ABC Family Channel Monday March 18th at 12:00 PM Eastern and Pacific. I'm excited to see it and I know that many of you wouldn't want to miss it either.

Yeah, thanks Kitt. I've been wanting to see that episode ever since I read about it on Dana's memorial site, I think. I'm a big Madonna fan, so I'm curious to see how Dana tries to imitate her :)

Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know that I checked the ABC Family Web site and "Mike's Madonna Story" is actually airing at 9am on the east coast. There's a different episode listed for 12pm. I'm not sure about the west coast, but I just thought I'd share for those of us on the east.
I believe the ABC Family site schedule is incorrect, it is off by 3 hours. You'll notice they have movies that normally air at 8pm eastern listed at 5pm eastern. Growing Pains has been airing at 12pm and 3pm eastern/pacific these past 2 weeks, and I fully expect them to keep the same schedule next week so this episode will be airing at 12pm Eastern.. btw, the original source for my information was tvguide.com

OMG! I thought I have seen every episode of Growing Pains! Apparently not. I can't believe I've never seen this before. Dana was great in it! But, when I looked at the end credits, it said co-staring Olivia D' Abo. Isn't that the girl from the Wonder Years? I guess it was a typo because that was for sure Dana Plato.
That's too bad about them botching the credits. Olivia D'Abo did guest star on Growing Pains a couple of times in that same year or so. That's a little bit of an excuse for the foul up. Dana was good, and funny as heck. I remember when I watched the rerun in '88 or '89, they used to leave the credits front and center, unlike the way they are buried nowadays in a small corner of the screen.
