"The Goldbergs'" Enlists Noah Munck for 'Naked' Role (Exclusive)

ABC's "The Goldbergs" is flushing out Barry's group of pals. The sophomore 1980-something comedy has enlisted "iCarly" alum Noah Munck, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Munck will recur on the semi-autobiographical series based on the life of showrunner Adam F. Goldberg and play "Naked Rob," an average looking, regular dude with a dry affect, who for some unknown reason loves getting naked.

Rob is a member of the so-called Jenkintown Posse (also affectionately known by its members as "JTP") — Barry's (Troy Gentile) ragtag group of friends. He's considered the "slick" member of the group.

Goldberg told THR that season two will further explore the Barry's dysfunctional love with Lainey (AJ Michalka) and woo her with a rap via his alter-ego, Big Tasty.

"It's a song he writes for her to win her heart, and it's pretty brutal," the exec producer said.

While it's unclear if Naked Rob will be part of that story line, every good rapper needs good posse, right?

Good for him, he was suppose to have a series after iCarly ended.

Sounds like it may be inspired by Munck's iCarly character who loved taking off his shirt.
