Sorry for all my "Remember this case" posts, but I was obsessed with this show when I was younger, and now I have these random memories coming back....
Anyways, I remember a case about a couple, and the man was killed, supposedly by the girls ex boyfriend. I remember that the man's family thought the girl and the ex worked together. I want to say that the ex boyfriend was Indian, or Asian, and that the man's family didn't let the girl attend the funeral.
The other case I remember is one where a girl was schizophrenic and killed her boyfriend in Arizona or New Mexico, maybe, and he was propped up on the couch or maybe covered with lots of blankets or something. Anyways, she was captured in Tennessee, in my city, which is why I am interested in this case :)
Thanks for your help :)

Maybe a fellow poster can help fill in one of my UM blanks. I saw the segment many years ago and only the once. A young lady went for a ride with her friend on the back of his bike. While they were on the road, a truck in the next lane began advancing on them seemingly out of nowhere. There were approx two or three men in bed of the truck and one of them was holding out what appeared to be a long two by four. As the truck sped past the young couple on the bike, the woman was struck in the head by the wooden board and severely injured. She suffered some brain damage as a result of her injuries and the perpetrators were still unaccounted for. Anyone remember that case and has there been any updates? Thank you!

Jenny Pratt. There are some good suspects (even at the time of the segment's original airing) but everyone with knowledge on the case has remained tight-lipped and nobody has faced charges. There was a semi-update on the 3rd anniversary special, although nothing particularly newsworthy. It was believed the intended target was the boyfriend, Curtis Croft, who seems to be quite a lecherous human being.

Very true, in fact several articles printed around the same time that the UM segment aired lend credence to the notion that Jenny's family knew who assaulted Jenny and Curtis that evening. We have since been given a few updates on the case on the forum, one I believe from a source close to Jenny's family who told us that the case is basically considered closed as far as the family is concerned. They know who attacked Jenny and Curtis and no charges were ever brought against this person. It's also been rumored that the person who actually threw the board that hit Jenny and Curtis is now deceased.
