Cant wait!!

I have season 1 and was going to get season 2 but didn't....might wait for the other 3 seasons.

I'm getting the complete series. If they're smart, they'll include some vintage stuff with Robin and even Pam. Interviews and whatnot. Make it great for the Robin fans.

I figured we'd get Season 4 but they'd wait and to not seem to be cashing in on Robin's death

awesome news!! I already have 1-3, so I plan on just pre-ordering S4 as soon as it becomes available

Not sure why they would release the entire series of this show when most fans probably have 3 seasons

What M&M fan is going to buy the entire series instead of 1 season? lol

spunkygirl

Me I'm going to buy the complete series. it's cheaper than buying the separate sets. 3 seasons from amazing together cost like $70 the season set is going for $76

Hmm- yeah, I was kinda worried about that when that listing was only appearing on Amazon's Canadian site and not the American site. Hopefully, Season 4 of "Mork & Mindy" is indeed coming to DVD because that would be great to finally see this series complete on DVD. It is a wonderful show and I definitely enjoy it. Robin Williams and Pam Dawber did a great job in this series- such a fun show.:)

makes sense for you since you don't have any seasons. But I am talking about the people who have all 3 seasons and only need one more

That's peculiar because it's working for me. I hope it's not just a rumour. The episodes shown here on local TV are terrible quality. It'd be great to see the episodes crisp and clean.

My mistake. I thought you were referring to your link to the TV Shows on DVD article. I wonder if it means there is no 4th season at the end of the year or Amazon Canada has a glitch on its site.

Mork & Mindy' first look:

Robin Williams' sitcom gets full DVD release
The passing of comedian Robin Williams on Aug. 11 sent many nostalgic fans looking back at his breakout role on "Mork & Mindy," and now they can do so on their television sets. CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media partnered to release "Mork & Mindy: The Complete Series" on DVD for the first time, and Zap2it is happy to debut the box art for the release exclusively above.

The DVD boxed set will be released on Dec. 9. The 15-disc DVD collection includes 95 episodes total and will run consumers $129.99. Meanwhile, "Mork & Mindy" Season 4 will be released on DVD for the first time Dec. 9 as well, and cost $39.99. The Season 4 DVD set will include two "Happy Days" episodes featuring Mork.

"The manic brilliance of Robin Williams was a gift that the world enjoyed for nearly 40 years," CBS Home Entertainment president Ken Ross says in a statement. "We hope this commemoration of one of our first glimpses into that genius can be a significant part of the many tributes to his legacy."

It certainly looks legit. I'll only need season 4 as well unless they release all 4 seasons uncut, but I doubt it.

Happy Days episodes featuring Mork (including his TV debut!)A week ago we reported that Amazon.ca had posted pre-order listings for the long-awaited DVD release of Mork & Mindy - The 4th Season, as well as all four seasons of the show in Mork & Mindy - The Complete Series on DVD, too. Soon afterward, Amazon.ca pulled down those entries, because Paramount had not formally announced the titles yet.

Now CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media Distribution have made it official, confirming that both Mork & Mindy - The 4th Season (3 DVDs, $39.99 SRP) and Mork & Mindy - The Complete Series (15 discs, $129.99 SRP finalized list price) will indeed be available to stores on December 9th, as we previously had said. As the studio description above informs you, both of Robin's Happy Days appearances as "Mork" will be included as a bonus, with episode 110, "My Favorite Orkan," and episode 142, "Mork Returns (5th Anniversary Show)." The studio info to retailers also says to expect Gag Reels as well. These bonus materials will also be included in The Complete Series set, and we've got the studio description for that right here: Get ready to laugh with Mork & Mindy, the insanely popular Happy Days spin-off that crash-landed onto television in 1978. Fans went wild for this wacky, off-the-wall sitcom featuring a misfit alien who departs from the faraway planet of Ork to come study "crazy" earthling customs. After touching down near Boulder, Colorado, Mork encounters the beautiful college student Mindy (Pam Dawber). The two strike up a charming and entertaining friendship that is full of good times and unexpected surprises.

Revisit the hilarious sitcom that launched Robin Williams' career into warp drive with this four season, 15-disc collection. Included are 95 episodes filled with riotous humor that transcend the boundaries of time and space. Experience all the unearthly delights and comic genius in this complete series collection. Special features include two Happy Days episodes featuring Mork!Amazon.com has a listing for The 4th Season, but isn't accepting pre-orders at it for right now. We've got the button link to that entry, though, so keep an eye on it! Under the button is finalized high-res 3D package art for both titles. Check it out:

I'm so getting the Complete Series as an early Christmas Present to myself lol

I think it's a great job on the cover art as well. I particular like the way they've kept the theme of the previous sets as well.

I noticed they mention seasons being restored a couple a times. I wonder if they're replacing the missing music content from the first 3 seasons? I'd be going for the complete series if this was the case.

I'm going to wait for the details before I buy a copy. If it's just the first three seasons already available, just repackaged, plus the fourth season, this box set is WAY overpriced. You can buy the first season for $15 from Amazon, and the second and third season at any Walmart for $10 each. That's $35 for the three first seasons, and then you can just buy the fourth season separately and still get the whole set for about half the price of the "boxed set."

If the box set is remastered, has complete episodes (as opposed to the edited ones on the current DVDs), or has extras, then that's another story. But aside from the 2 Happy Days episodes (both of which are available for free on YouTube), there doesn't seem to be anything new about the DVDs in the box set. So, I think they're just the currently available DVDs repackaged.

It's not really overpriced given on Amazon, I think its Season 2 or 3 is like $35

I already own seasons 1-3 but if they go back and fix the music issues then I'll gladly rebuy them in the complete set. If not, I'll just buy season 4.

I watched the first 4 episodes last night, appear to be complete, unedited episodes. I saw some scenes I don't recall ever seeing, so that was pretty sweet.

I paid $29.99 for Season 4 and worth every penny for me!

They do appear to be unedited and I actually think the picture quality of the DVD is better than the Jeffersons. The Jeffersons on some the picture looks washed out and dark.

Was "Hey Jude" left alone? During one of the three parts of the finale, Mork sings a little bit of the song.

Please check!

I was also wondering about this. I'm surprised this wasn't one of the first things that people checked on.

I watched part 1 of "Gotta Run" last night and the part where Mork and Kalnik sing "Hey Jude" for about 10 seconds isn't included. All of the conversation between Mindy and Tracy right before Mork and Kalnik enter the house has been cut too. That scene was about 35 seconds. They talk about how Mork likes to hear the end of "Hey Jude" on the radio in the car which is why he didn't come in with Mindy.

There also appears to be another cut later in the episode, but I don't know for sure. That scene wasn't on my copy recorded on syfy. Mearth seems to be doing a song and dance number and there's a strange edit, there is no singing.

I think CBS managed to get most of the music because I noticed several instances where Mork or another cast member sings part of a song.

Most of the episodes have a running time between 25:04-25:11. I've made a list of episodes that have a running time of under 25 minutes on the DVDs.

Alienation - 24:40

Metamorphosis The TV Show - 24:56

Drive She Said - 24:56

Midas Mork - 24:50

Gotta Run (Part 1) - 24:02

Gotta Run (Part 2) - 24:56

The Mork Report - 24:55

Thanks for that information. Clearly the episodes aren't restored in the meaning I was hoping for. It'll be season 4 by itself, then.

I didn't make that very clear, did I? I already have the first 3 seasons so it'll be season 4 by itself rather than the complete set.

Was the "I Feel The Earth Move" instrumental left alone? It was in the ep where Mork imagined what Mindy would be like without him. I am definitely buying the complete series set this summer!
