No, she looks too Miley Cyrus and in fact between the haircut and the new job she is 'maturing' which I am a fan of character development during long running shows, but for some reason with Penny it doesn't fit.

I don't like it at all. It's not very flattering on her. Shoulder-length a tad shorter than shoulder-length would have been better.

Big Bang Theory will be cancelled because of her haircut (http://www.lipstickalley.com/showthread.php?t=769520)

Not a fan of that hair-style, it just seems too short and too boyish for her. But if she likes it, I guess that's all that really matters.

There are 2 things that happen when women get their hair chopped.

1) Other women say stuff like "Aww, that's cute!"

2) Men say stuff like "What'd you do that for?"

Ha Ha!

I always look at it as women's way of saying they're off the market, because they usually only do it when they're in a committed relationship.

Or you get rare circumstances where Jennifer Lawrence did it as some kind of f**k you to something out there she must be rebelling against that only she knows. I guess some women look at cutting their hair as empowering.....

Sure if you consider being unsexy empowering, by all means, get a freakin' bald head and enjoy all the empowerment to your heart's desire.

In the meantime, long hair is going to look better on a woman in 99% of cases rather than short.

I'm guessing Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting must have had to voluntarily sacrifice half of her hair in order to get that $1 million per episode fee.

I don't think it looks very flattering on her.

I think it makes her look older and too tomboyish.

Those haircuts work better on smaller or petite women. Tall, broad shoulders, just seems weird and doesn't fit her profile

I know she does not look that right, but it doesn't have to look perfect at all.

I think part of the problem is that w/ all due respect, Kaley Cuoco really when you get right down to it, isn't that attractive. What I mean is that Kaley has always been at best, "cute" (even when she was on 8 Simple Rules... and Charmed) but not drop dead gorgeous. She more or less fits the description of a women w/ a "hot body, but weird face". Kaley isn't like somebody like for example, Janine Turner or Morena Baccarin, who are already beautiful enough that they could more easily get away w/ a shorter hairstyle.

1. Kaley Cuoco

Kaley Cuoco has the sort of face that was made for longer hair. In spite of this, she opted to cut her long locks off in favor of a pixie. While she may like the change, we (and many others) aren’t as fond. She might call this a reinvention, but we definitely feel like she pulled a Felicity with this one.

“When I wrapped season 7 of Big Bang a couple months ago, we cut it short that night. I haven’t had my hair cut in over 20 years. I was ready for a change – I felt like I needed to reinvent myself and that cut was awesome,” she told Women’s Health. “And I kept seeing people cutting their hair shorter and shorter, and I thought, it’s only a few more inches, and I talked to my hair dresser and we cut it. I loved it, I didn’t want to stop. I am surprised I did not shave my head.”

I saw Kaley at the end of a new Priceline ad w/ William Shatner (as her "father") this morning and even then, I was still taken aback by her hair. This was I believe the first one of those ads w/ her new short haircut (http://www.ew.com/article/2015/02/10/rip-amazing-spider-man). It still looks really bad and unflattering on her (for one thing, it makes her look really older).

Yeah. I think there ought to be some unwritten code somewhere that women can't cut their hair until they're 40.

I've talked with some women online and even before we go out on a first date they send me an email bragging about cutting their hair.

Needless to say the relationship didn't last.

I understand women cutting their hair after settling into a marriage, as Kaley did, but before I even meet you in person?

That's what I mean. Women tend to do it after they've settled into a relationship they're happy in. So if a woman's going to cut her hair after I talk with her on one conversation, it's over. Clearly they don't understand how this works in normal relationships. You don't cut your hair until after we've long gone steady.

I always seem to get the women that want to change too soon.

But I'm beginning to realize one thing about women.....if they're happy in their relationship their hair is going to get shorter and their waist is going to get larger. If you've been dating a girl for a while and she all of sudden loses weight and grows her hair out.....LOOK OUT! She's already unhappy in her relationship with you and looking to replace you.

Kaley Cuoco is beautiful either way in my opinion, but the new look with the short hair is adorable.

She been around for a minute and I forgot she got started in 2002 on 8 Simple Rules. Even back then she looked like she was 26 and was in her teens:lol:

i don't know if it is just the style and not specifically the length itself, but it definitely makes her look matronly and does not flatter her at all - and it doesn't really fit the character of Penny at all either.

there's nothing wrong with a "different" hairstyle, but it should be complementary and accentuate the person's looks and not detract from her good features.
