TV these days wouldn't have an episode of a TV show where a woman is hurling false accusations of getting sexually assaulted like Dean Travers' niece was at Jack.

Women's rights groups would complain about the TV episode presenting the idea that sometimes women make up sexual assault claims.

I have to admit this is one of those episodes where the theme of the "evil b**ch causing trouble for an innocent guy" comes into play, and that's not something a TV show could do today without getting criticism.

LOL have you SEEN Fatal Attraction? Or pretty much half of Lifetime movies? Evil bitches everywhere hunting down "innocent" men.

I think today in a sitcom you wouldn't see it. False rape charges are actually just as common (not more common) as other falsely reported crimes--they only account for 2-8% of reported rapes. I don't see how it could be incorporated into a funny show these days. Maybe a crime show or some other "serious" TV show, but yeah, not a sitcom.
