I only have $.45 in the bank and Time Warner keeps bugging me for their money. First...I'm cancelling their service since I realize that I can't afford school or internet at the same time.
But...should I get a money order from Western Union or someone like that? I'm in jeopardy until next Tuesday!

A postal M/O is your best bet and the fee is much cheaper than Western Union.

I haven't used post office money orders but I have for Western Union. They charge a $0.79 fee for money orders. Is the P.O. cheaper than that?

I thought WU was higher and it's been awhile since I got one at the P.O. so it may be about the same.
You can also get a money order at Walmart for less than a dollar. It's always good to make a copy of your money order after you fill it out. It never hurts to have a record of it. Another option is to get a cashiers check at your bank but those are more expensive.

Yeah get a money order, although if you feel safer sending a personal check then deposit the money first to your bank.
