....then why was she the first one to volunteer to strip down and demonstrate with the other nudists on the beach in "Good Old Reliable Janet"?

She was nearly out the door before Janet stopped her.

Also, Chrissy is usually the one who sticks up for the rights of the roommates to sleep with whomever they want. For example, when she and Janet come home and think Jack bedded a girl in "Strange Bedfellows" or when she and Jack think Janet is advertising for a baby daddy in "And Baby Makes Four." Chrissy is always the one to say, "It's his/her own life, we shouldn't judge or interfere." That's an unusually progressive view for a virginal preacher's daughter.

I think Chrissy had a sex life but felt like she could never acknowledge it because she wanted to preserve her "good girl" image. Or maybe it was lazy writing, who knows. However, fourth season Chrissy is so childlike it's almost creepy to think of her sleeping with anyone.

I think it was lazy writing. Yeah, when she panicked with the snowcap over her eyes it really wouldn't feel right for a guy to try to do you know what to her. This is a woman who needs professional help.

Chrissy was definitely not sexy in Season 4 anymore. Suzanne and Chrissy both looked hotter in Seasons 1 and 2. I think Suzanne must have had some plastic surgery done and it hurt her natural good looks in Season 4.

To change the topic further, I guess I can kind of understand why Suzanne might have thought she was a big star in Season 4. There were a lot of episodes where she was the focus and she was hamming it up in true comedic form. The focus did shift away from John Ritter as the lead a little. Still not as much as Fonzie taking over Happy Days, but still. In the end Chrissy got more episodes about her because of *LAZY WRITING*. It had to be so easy to write Chrissy dumb jokes that the joke got old after a while. Suzanne leaving was good for the creativity of the show.

Speaking of lazy writing....What I found annoying about Season 4 is all of the "explain it to Chrissy" scenes. I mean, we are the audience, WE JUST SAW THEM TELL THE JOKE, we don't need to hear it again explained to Chrissy. I really thought those scenes wasted time and were frankly boring. Maybe that was supposed to be a joke in and of itself, but today I (and I hope others, too) get impatient with incredibly obtuse, uncomprehending female characters. The joke is old and not funny anymore.
