A contract from 1960-61 signed by Hugh for membership of the Screen Actor's Guild...location of Tarzana is 10 northwest of Hollywood. Nice area as one can see it by typing his address on google earth.

Based on that he was getting paid very very little for his work on "Leave it to Beaver"!

I thought that had to be his dues he paid to the Guild but I guess it is his gross earnings for 1960....wow!!!!!!! Well at least he was getting a raise in 1961.

I'm sure he made more then $2200 in 1961. According to US Census, the average income for a family was $4100 in that year!

Maybe thats what he was getting per episode.
