Every time I've ever seen the Professor sleep, it has been on some sort of flat bed, but in this episode (My Fair Gilligan), the Skipper and Gilligan wake him from a hammock.

Just thought that was interesting.

It looks like he slept in Gilligan's hammock, which is very possible because this is the ep where the Howells adopt Gilligan and he moves in with them.

Yes, that was kind of early in the first season before the Professor had his own hut if I remember right.

All I know is that the Professor's dream sequence in "St Gilligan and the Dragon" was one of my all-time favorite scenes!

Proffy also acquired a pair of polka dot pjs at some point. You can see him wearing them in Allergy Time.

It's a crying shame that we never saw Proffy without his shirt on. Having it opened up in the St. Gilligan dream sequence was as far as it went.

I agree Teebs. It IS a shame we never really saw Proffy COMPLETELY shirtless (front and back!), preferably doing some work like digging, lifting, etc! hahahaha

There was a scene, tho, where the cast was dressed up like natives to fool some gangsters who had came to the island to hide out. I think Larry Storch played the leader. You get a pretty good view of Proffy's chest and it's looks pretty darn good! Here's the scene I was thinking of:

Look at Alan Hale's big, chunky arms, too! I bet he could crack a girl's ribs! (To paraphrase the awesome Lulu from Dusty's Trail).

I saw this post thread and often thought about the professors hut as well. They rarely shown his hut, what it looked like or where or how slept.
