I have a feeling this is going to start the whole "Maude"/"Good Times" debate all over again.

My favorite spin-off isn't on the list: "Mama's Family", which was a spin-off of "The Carol Burnett Show".

If Mama's Family works as a spinoff, then it would follow that The Simpsons is a Tracey Ullman spinoff. I think a number of shows, including The Honeymooners, started as sketches within other shows.
