Some say that the NFC East is a competitive division while others considers it the worst division in the NFC

However, the NFC East consist of 4 teams that are ready and willing to put it all on the line again

Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins and the New York GIANTS

Tony Romo, Nick Foles, Robert Griffin, III and Eli Manning looks to step it up again

But what role will their defenses play in this one?

and plus, who will clinch the NFC East in 2014 and will any of them clinch Wild Cards?

That's the Question!

This Sunday, 2 NFC Teams will take on 2 Teams from the NFC South as the Eagles will host the Jacksonville Jaguars while the Redskins travel to Texas to take on the Houston Texans and in America's Game of the Week on FOX, you will see the biggest rival in the NFC as the Cowboys host Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers

and on the Season Premiere of ESPN Monday Night Football, the GIANTS will travel to Detroit to take on Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions

The Cowboys fell victim to the 49ers when Romo threw 4 Interceptions in the 1st Half and the 49ers def. the Cowboys in Dallas 28-17

The Redskins fall victim to the Houston Texans 17-6

and tonight on the Season Premiere of Monday Night Football, the GIANTS fell victim to the Detroit Lions 35-14

Next Week, 3 of the teams from the NFC East will take on 3 teams from the AFC South

The Redskins will host the Jacksonville Jaguars while the Dallas Cowboys travel to Tennessee to take on the Titans and on Monday Night Football, the Eagles will travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts and this will be the 1st meeting between 2 Quarterbacks who are Pac-12 Rivals

Well the Giants are one of my favorite teams. And I will stick by them even when they aren't doing well. ;)

But as for a bad Q/B and bad coach, last season wasn't good and it's starting out this season on a bad foot. But the Giants were a top team. So they were good, their skills suddenly couldn't go bad, just in a slump. They won two super bowls , 2008 and 2012 with Eli as Q/B and Tom coaching . ;) And they made it far through the playoffs in other years too.

IMO all three are good ! Archie was great in his Ole Miss college days, than pro ball , plying for the Saints. The Saints never seemed to get it together back than. Archie was good, and should have/could have moved on to another team , but he stayed loyal to a team who's other players weren't very good. ;)

Let's be serious for a moment here. And I have to kick the really over-the-top crazy Dallas Cowboys fans out of the room now so we can have a real conversation.

OK, good. Now ... what in the heck is going on in Dallas?

Look, you didn't see this coming, I didn't see this coming, nobody did. But now there's no getting around it: The Dallas Cowboys look good. They look great. Had Tony Romo not made some big Week 1 mistakes against the 49ers, they might be 4-0 with some quality wins. I just don't know how we got here.

The Cowboys didn't add much in the offseason, and the defense lost Jason Hatcher, DeMarcus Ware and Sean Lee. Romo was coming off back surgery. They've been the epitome of mediocre for years. All of a sudden, they're good. Logically, it makes little sense.

Sunday night's dominant win over the Saints was their statement that they're for real. Now, "for real" comes and goes in the NFL in 2014 as quickly as Jon Gruden compliments a mundane play on "Monday Night Football." Teams look great one week and incompetent seven days later. Nothing is permanent. But right now, the Cowboys deserve a huge bump up the rankings. Defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli would get my coach of the year vote at this point. He has been that good. The Cowboys' offense has reinvented itself by building around DeMarco Murray and a great run-blocking offensive line. They deserve all the credit you can give them.

I guess that's the beauty of the NFL. Things that are completely unforeseen can actually happen. We're seeing it in Dallas.

Here are the post-Week 4 power rankings:

32. Oakland Raiders (0-4, LW: 31)
Head coach Dennis Allen got fired, and general manager Reggie McKenzie can't be far behind. Remember, they have the oldest roster in the NFL. Bad, bad, bad.

31. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-4, LW: 30)
No one player is going to totally turn this team around, not even a huge upgrade at quarterback. They're just not good at all. But they're also very young and you'd assume they'll improve as this season goes on.

30. Washington Redskins (1-3, LW: 28)
Or maybe I was right to be skeptical of Kirk Cousins.

29. Tennessee Titans (1-3, LW: 23)
How in the world did they look so good at Kansas City in Week 1? That's the weirdest result of the NFL season so far, right?

28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-3, LW: 32)

Will be interesting if Todd Bowles' super-aggressive defensive approach works against blitzmaster Peyton Manning.

On Monday, Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman will potentially line up opposite Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson, a childhood friend from the Los Angeles area.

On Monday night at FedEx Field, the nation will witness Compton and Long Beach together, just not in the same capacity as Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

Instead of the iconic West-Coast rappers, NFL fans will see another pair who calls the Los Angeles area home - Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

Sherman - out of Compton's Dominguez High School, and Jackson - who attended Long Beach Poly, have been friends since elementary school when the two played together on the same little league baseball team.


"It’s going to be a fun one," Sherman said Thursday of potentially lining up against Jackson when Seattle faces Washington on Monday Night Football. "It’s always fun playing against family and friends. You have a good time, it’s competitive but it’s just the same competitive edge, but it’s a little more to it."

As a Seahawks fan, you're likely familiar with Sherman - the Seahawks’ two-time first-team All-Pro selection who led the League in interceptions (8) and paced the team in passes defensed (19) last season. But Jackson's athletic prowess has been on display since he debuted in 2008 with the Philadelphia Eagles, where the 5-foot-10, 178-pound pass catcher spent the past six seasons piling up All-Pro (2009) and Pro Bowl honors (2009, 2010, 2013).

"He’s always been a great athlete," Sherman said of Jackson, who logged a career-high 1,332 receiving yards last season. "He’s always been one of the top athletes in whatever sport we were playing. A lot of people would’ve guessed he would’ve gone baseball, especially early on in the way his father was involved in baseball. He has always been a fantastic athlete."

The first-year Redskins receiver has a history of success hauling in the long ball - Jackson has scored 15 touchdowns of 60 yards or more. Not letting the speedy wideout behind the Seahawks defense will be a key point of emphasis for Pete Carroll's ball club this week.


"It’s huge," Carroll said. "We always think that way, but some guys are better at it than others and he’s caught a lot of long touchdown passes in his career."

And the Seahawks head coach should know what Jackson is capable of more than most, having heavily recruited him at USC. Carroll said the Seahawks defense will pay close attention to Jackson's ability to get down field.

"We had seen him at our camps, really up-close and personal," Carroll said of Jackson, who ended up playing his collegiate ball at Cal. "I will never forget the day. There were a bunch of great players at our camp. He was really special. At the end of a double-session day, at the end of the camp he was still flying around and doing great stuff.

"He’s got a real natural skill for playing the ball. He’s extraordinarily fast and really well-equipped in body control and timing and stuff like that. He’s a tremendous athlete."

Redskins beating the Cowboys was a surprise and i wasn't expecting that. I found it interesting that Colt McCoy who plays for the Redskins and Brandon Weeden who plays for Dallas used to play for Cleveland and they didn't last with Cleveland long. I don't know why the Browns don't keep quarterbacks that long. Arizona beating Philadelphia was a surprise and it seems Arizona is the real deal. I'll see how they'll do in the playoffs.

The Dallas Cowboys celebrated their victory @ home with a score of 42-7 against the Indianapolis Colts to end their Regular Season Home Game with a 4-4 and not only did they sweep the AFC South, but they have also CLINCHED the NFC East Title for the 1st time in 5 years since 2009 and on top of that, Tony Romo has passed Troy Aikman to claim a major Dallas Cowboys milestone

and now, the Cowboys go to 11-4 while the GIANTS go to 4-11, the Eagles go to 9-6 and the Redskins go to 6-9

Next Week, we will see 2 Division Rival Match-Ups in the NFC East as 2 teams look to sweet their opponents this season while 2 teams are lookin' to get revenge

Dallas is gonna beat Detroit this weekend. What's up with that black guy defensive lineman for Detroit who stepped on Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers leg on purpose while Aaron was down? That dude got some issues and Detroit needs to let him go. He's done stupid stuff like that several times. I wasn't surprised Dallas put a spanking on the Redskins yesterday 44-17 hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Maybe the Redskins do need to let Kirk Cousins be their starting quarterback from now on because I notice when he plays that their offense scores a lot of points compared to their offense not doing good when Robert Griffin plays. I wonder if the Giants coach is gonna get fired. I see they scored 26 points against Philadelphia even though they lost and that was surprising considering how bad they were this year.
