Umm what do you think? Seeing videos of the towers collapsing and of the planes crashing.. thousands dying.... How is it not awful?

I wasn't. If you ask me, the "thud" of falling bodies is far more offensive and shocking than the unbleeped use of "****," so I'm glad they left it in.

Touche. The events of September 11 were awful, but the documentary wasn't glorifying them. If it does anything, it shows the courage of firefighters everywhere.

And using your above argument, couldn't you say that almost all newscasts in the last six months have been awful? After all, they've shown footage of the planes hitting the towers and the buildings collapsing numerous times.

So in my opinion, events of September 11 = bad. Last night's September 11 documentary = good.

I meant it was sooooooo awful as in seeing the video.... not as in the documentary was awful....

Aw.. I can't believe I missed it. I was going to watch it but I had to go to church and forgot about it. :( It sounded so good and inspiring.

Oh God, that was so sad. I mean, I thought that new guy Tony was dead! I just let it all out after that, I began to cry so much. Its just so awful. They said they seen legs and feet. . people on fire? Now thats awful! The guys were documentaring the life of a firefighter and then when this happened, one of the guys asked if they could go inside. so they did and got all this never b4 seen footage. The priest was like number 0001 to be pronounced (announced? lol not sure there) dead. they elevators just stopped--im not gonna re-cap. :(

Wow! Sounds like it was a pretty powerful documentory. I missed it while I was out of town. I didn't even know it was on. The funny thing is, is that on Monday I was at the Pentagon bright and early and saw a big group of people set up with cameras and a podium. It was VERY high security. We had no idea what it was so we just went on looking at the Pentagon. Later that day I was talking to my sister back home in Texas and I found out that it was some type of memorial service at the Pentagon they were having for the 6 month anniversary of 9/11. Sec. Rumsfeld was there speaking as well as other notable people. My sister thought it was kinda funny I was there and had no idea what was going on.

Also today (Well technically yesterday since it's after midnight. So we'll just say Tuesday) I was at Arlington Cemetery. There is a traveling exhibit that is being housed in the memorial for the female veterans that is a picture gallery dedicated to 9/11.

I spent close to an hour there looking at all the pictures. I was just awed at all of the photos and letters that were on display. This photo display is going to be traveling all over the county. If it comes to your area you should try to see it. It was really neat.


(By the way, if there are any mis spelled words, I'm sorry. It has been a very long week already and I am typing this at 12:30 in the morning.)
