As someone who doesn't have Antenna TV, this is relevant to my interests.

I'm about to be done with that release of Barney Miller. I'm about 1.5 seasons out from the finish.

According to this article, Sony now has a minority ownership of FamilyNet and will be handling some of their advertising. This could prove interesting.

I get RFDTV on Directv, I've looked for Familynet but it doesn't look like I get it. I wish RFDTV would air more sitcoms like "Hillbillies", "Green Acres", "Petticoat", "Real McCoys"...etc.

It won't be on RFD-TV but it will be aired on the Rural TV network which airs the FamilyNet shows. That is channel 232 on Dish Network.

I dont get Family Net in my area. Is AITF, All in the Family? If it is, it shouldnt be on FamilyNet.

That's great news. I'm glad they are adding more classic shows to their lineup. I stopped watching when they took off WKRP & the rest they showed in primetime.

You're right, I was thinking of RFD-TV because I saw their logo here (http://schedule.familynet.com/default.asp?i=7&tz=1) and didn't notice the one for Rural TV which is their sister station.

I just saw the commercial. RuralTv will cease airing RFD TV prgramming and become more of a classic tv channel. So if u like RFD TV programming....you will have to request the channel...they are keeping the channels seperate from one another.

Yeah, last night I flip over to FamilyNet to watch Fantasy Island, and it wasn't on. They were showing the same stuff that was on RFD.

I like to see FamilyNet air more sitcoms from the 1950s,1960s,1970s,1980s,1990s, & 2000s with shows like for ex: Leave it to Beaver, Green Acres, Three's Company, Mama's Family, Home Improvement, etc.

It's about darn time! I gave up on that channel when they took off a whole boat load of 20th Television-owned shows.

I wish directv would replace RFD with Familynet. RFD is pretty much useless.
