I noticed on last night's Emmy Awards that during the "In Memoriam" section of the program there was no picture of Dave Madden.

They had Russell Johnson (ie. The Professor from Gilligan's Island), Ann B. Davis, Marcia Wallace, etc. etc.

Someone one another board was griping because they didn't include Dave nor Ed Nelson yet they included Maya Angelou. The fact was pointed out that Madden & Nelson were staples on TV for years while Angelou did have a few TV credits, it didn't warrant her being included. The fact is that every year someone noteworthy is left out.

If Dave Madden wanted to be remembered by Hollywood, he should have been a liberal activist.

Yeah that mad no sense. I never considered Maya Angelou a TV person but Dave Madden definitely was. Reminds me of a few years ago when the Academy Awards omitted a famous actress but had a few studio executives.
