I've been challenged by a Brady Bunch expert here at work. I referred to Alice stating that she kept the last of everything in the household. Seems to me that that part of the episode was that one of the kids wanted an apple (or something like that) and the bowl was empty. Alice pulled one out of another location and made that statement. I don't remember which episode it was but she had the apple hidden in the cupboard behind some dishes.

It's "Jan, The Only Child" from Season 4. Alice pulls the last apple out of the cupboard and the last hamburger out of the oven for Jan.
