I saw this segment recently and I still get chills from the the accounts of the alleged victims. Especially Bob Matthews. He seemed really sincere with what he shared about his experiences, especially the one when he was a child. It really seemed to have a profound effect on his life. The other woman that spoke also seemed like she had an unsettling experience with her sister. What did you think of this segment? From what I've noticed here a lot of people either really like the UFO and paranormal stories or really don't care for them at all. Personally I'm in the initial camp, although I don't think everything that was profiled on UM was what it seemed, some of what is detailed is interesting, yet disturbing at the same time. Does anyone know if Bob Matthews passed or how he is doing today if he is still alive? I know Budd Hopkins recently passed.

Having had an episode of missing time myself (I won't go into much detail here about it). I will say this much they are fascinating cases. Personally I think it comes down to the persons perception of how much time has passed. The best example I can possibly give is when you go to work. I'll bet you've had days that went super smooth and all your coworkers were in a good mood. You might perceive that it's lunchtime and then you look at the clock and it's time to go home.

On the flip side, you might have really bad days where all you wanted to do was stay home and read a book. Throughout the day you keep looking at the clock and no matter how many times you look at it, the hands don't want to move. Again that's just your mind's perception of time.

I'd never take anything away from the cases featured on the show because I've had my own experience with it. It's been awhile since I've seen the cases, so I'm out of the loop on the details. Missing Time itself is something that doesn't really get that much attention (from what I've seen) from the mainstream paranormal or unexplained shows out there.
