Once again, Teebs to the rescue! Thank you! Yes, that's what I'm trying to do and it's not working. I just gave up! lol

There used to be an option to upload from your files but I don't see it any more. Now it just says 'please enter the URL of your image.'

Use the "attach files" option. In it, there's an "Upload File from your Computer"

'remove text formatting', 'bold', 'italic', 'underline', 'colors', 'insert link', 'insert image', 'wrap QUOTE tags around selected text', and lastly the option to make the reply box bigger or smaller.

That's it. The insert image option tells you to enter the URL of your image, no option for computer files.

Is it a browser issue do you think? I use Chrome.

"Is it a browser image...?" It might be. I have Google Chrome on my iMac, and it has the "attach images" option I posted above.

Like I said before...Teebs to the rescue! ha ha Thanks for much for posting this! I will give it a try again. Wish me luck. I'm not the most computer savvy person in the world, but I do post pictures on FB and e-mails, so hopefully I can do this!

Teebs...I think you can pretty well guess just by looking at my forum name that Proffy will more than likely be in a lot of them! :lol:

Ok, I just tried uploading a picture from my computer following the instructions above and when I hit "Preview Post", I didn't see the picture in the preview. Will the picture NOT show up in the preview? I feel so stupid right now!

Who said it was? you quoted my post then asked a question and I replied to it.

This whole thread is Prof Girl's thread. She asked the original question about how to upload an image, and when Ohio8 said where to look in the reply box, I looked for myself and found it and then Prof Girl said 'Teebs to the rescue' and that's why I said it wasn't me to the rescue it was Ohio8.

At the bottom of this pane I'm typing in now, there is definitely 'Post Quick Reply' on the left, and 'Go Advanced' on the right. Go advanced gives you all the smileys as well.
