My latest article on true crime covers the case of a teenager suffering from what was thought to be a poltergeist but later proved to be an important case in pseudo-science. Then things turn grim as she becomes a central part of a toddler's death.
If you haven't read the book "Unleashed" on this case, then this article is a must read.

I haven't seen the case in ages, did UM mention Amber or Tina being in prison at all?

My God. I had no idea all this happened to her. Crazy.

This does explain why she seemed so scared of her folks when the picture fell from the wall when William Roll was interviewing her though. I always thought that seemed like a over the top reaction until now.

Apparently, the paranormal incidents with Tina started occurring right after she watched The Poltergeist, the famous movie where similar incidents occurred. The Poltergeist could have been the topic of a UM segment in and of itself due to the sheer volume of premature deaths met by the cast and crew, including one actress that was murdered.
I recorded an Our House episode from 1987 some time back with Heather O'Rourke, which was one of her last roles. She also filmed scenes for the 3rd Poltergeist movie, then died shortly thereafter. Sad, seemed like such a sweet girl.
They used REAL human skeletons for the filming of the first Poltergeist movie.
