I think the Salem episodes are among the best episodes of the last two seasons. A lot was made of the show shooting on location during the summer of 1970, and promos stating that Salem's the backdrop for "several episodes of Bewitched this fall".

I rewatched some of them recently, and I think the best of them is the fifth episode "Darrin on a Pedastal". Out of the group of Salem episodes, this is about the only one that was actually shot on location. Just about the whole episode takes place outdoors in the beautiful east coast scenery. All the other episodes just have brief on location scenes here and there (if at all), and much of it was shot in the Holllywood studios. I never get tired of watching this one.

The following year the show tried to repeat the formula by having Samantha and Darrin go to Europe. TVGuide even stated they'd be shooting on location. I don't think any of those episodes ever left Hollywood, but the ghost episode at the end of the arc is probably the funniest of those.

This is one of my favorite episodes also. Mainly because Robert Brown (from Here Come The Brides) was in it. He played the seaman who had great chemistry with Serena.
