I will need confirmation that the episodes of seasons 7 to 11 are not syndication versions and hoping this series release is not a cover up to release edited episodes. I already recorded seasons 7 to 11 from TV Land and TV one and would not pay to see them.
So I was about to pre-order but I think it's better to pay $70 extra if it means that I will be getting a UNCUT set. Because even though we have been waiting for the series to be released on DVD, i will not buy the series set if any episode is under 25 mins from season 7 to 11

I'm confused about the $229 thing...where are they selling a totally unedited complete series for $229?

The whole series of the Jeffersons will be released on DVD in December. If you pre-order from amazon then it's $160. If you get it after it's release date then it's $229

Actually I looked at the Amazon page and they crossed out the $229 and listed it as $160....
That's just a marketing gimmick. They do that for everything to make you think you're getting a good deal.
I don't think it means they will boost it up to $229 after it comes out, unless you read that somewhere.

It's being crossed out so you can pre-order. But I don't want to do it just in case the DVD is edited

I don't think the price will go to $229 after the release date. The pre-order price I got for what I ordered on Amazon last month is still the same price.
So what I'm saying is, it will be okay. I think you'll still only have to pay $160. Time will tell of course.

Well until I see the SitcomOnline Review I ain't ordering nothing. $160 is a lot of money to just throw away. And I am sure I can't get a refund if it is edited
