View Full Version : Website Troubles?
Mr. Television 08-16-2014, 01:55 PM Is anyone else having trouble with Sitcoms Online. When I go to the new posts section as well as some other sections the website is too large for my computer that I can't even see the whole page. When I go to the individual threads, it all looks normal.
Zoneboy 08-16-2014, 02:35 PM Looks like a Firefox issue, no problem with IE.

Thanks Charles. I just tried it with IE and it is normal. I wonder what happened with Firefox because all my other websites are normal?
Mr. Television 08-16-2014, 03:39 PM It seems to have worked itself out.

Not for me, Display is wrong, should not be side-by-side.

Yea it's gone back to the same way again for me. That's the way it looked earlier.

It's fixed now.

Same with me. There used to be an arrow that you could close. It's gone now.
Trying to do tables and get them the proper width is a nightmare. It's a lot of trial and error. I never saw it with the split screens like the screenshots, but I guess it depends on your monitor resolution. It looks ok in IE, Firefox and Chrome for me at 1280 x 800. I also saw it on a tablet and it looks pretty good. We still need a mobile theme.
As far as the ticker, we can no longer offer the option to hide it. There's an ad there, so it would be against the policy. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we are struggling to pay our server costs in recent months. Thanks for understanding.
Dude111 08-19-2014, 06:12 AM Ya it looks OK TJ @ 800x600 :) (Same as it always has since I first sailed ashore)
MikeLutton 08-22-2014, 03:07 PM the page is way down for me not sure why it doing the same to me I thought it was just my laptop
Bonniegirl 08-24-2014, 12:27 AM The other day, I think Wednesday or Thursday it was running REALLY SLOW!!! Trying to switch around to different threads was almost impossible . It was running way too slow. And only Sitcoms message boards. Every other website and everything else I was doing on my computer was running just fine.
Dude111 08-24-2014, 09:40 AM Hmmmmmmm i wonder what happend??

I think I am having issues with Java on my PC. A notice keeps coming up about that when I am on here. And yesterday all of a sudden the whole page would just completely go blank. Like the whole screen would go white. I don't know too much about computers and my husband doesn't either when there are issues. :(
I am here at work posting. One good thing about this job is I have a lot of work on the computer and I can sneak on the internet sometimes. ;)
Jack1000 10-04-2014, 03:37 PM The forum has been running slow for me the last several days.
It is the only site where I have trouble, and I have High Speed Turbo Internet.
