'Dinosaurs' is now on Netflix for you to re-live one of the greatest
series of the 90s (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/rec.arts.tv/-wSXb-PLVaQ)
By Megan Vick
IMPORTANT NOTICE: " Dinosaurs" -- the 90s sitcom about the domestic
life of a T-rex and his family -- is available for your viewing
pleasure right now on Netflix. That's right, relive all the "I'm the
baby, gotta love me!" magic starting right now on instant stream.
"Dinosaurs" originally premiered in 1991 on ABC as a team up with
puppet master Jim Henson Productions and Michael Jacobs ( "Boy Meets
World"). The famous puppeteer had dreamed up the concept shortly
before his death in 1990 and was never able to see the realized
version on the small screen. However, many still remember it as a
staple show of the early 90s. Earl, Fran, Charlene, Robbie and Baby
all stomped into our hearts only to leave the air three short years
later.
Though it only lasted for four brief seasons it housed some of
America's favorite TV talents. Fun fact: Fran, the mama dinosaur, was
voiced by Jessica Walter. You may know her better as Lucille Bluth on
"Arrested Development". Baby was voiced by John Clash -- who is also
responsible for "Sesame Street" most ticklish friend, Elmo. Sally
Struthers was the 'tude behind Earl and Francine's teenage daughter
Charlene.
You can relive all of the dinosaur family drama for yourself and catch
all the things you missed in the 90s on Netflix now though. All four
seasons are available now, so kick back and get your nostalgia on.
