I already seen the Jackass named "beau" in the episode about Vinny's apartment but tonight is the episode he is introduced in?
If it was production order we would have already seen Beau's Jest and I refused to believe ABC aired Beau's Jest after the episode about Vinny's apartment.
BTW: I don't know if I ever seen a TV character so stupid in my life. Damm I think I like Mork better than Beau

I saw that too. That was a little confusing. I think Beau was the anti sweathog. I mean he was more scheaming then the rest of the Sweathogs. I do have a couple of questions.
1) Is it true that Gabriel Kaplan and Marcia Strassman couldnt stand each other toward the end of the series? They were hardly in any scenes together.
2)Btw, did was it by choice that Gabe wasnt in the series as much in season 4? I actually saw him in the beginning and the end of Beau's Jest and I think that was it.
3) I missed it but how did they write Vinnie out? Was Mr. Kotter ok with this?

Just a guess about Vinny
He worked at the hospital and had his own place which was an excuse not to see him as much

Generally speaking, MeTV has been airing them in broadcast order, but the "Beau's Jest" episode was initially skipped over but did end up airing a few nights ago. I think it was the third episode, but ended up being shown after the fourth or fifth for some reason. Hmmmm??
Gabe Kaplan was indeed missing from most of season four by his own choice -- he was embroiled in a battle against executive producer James Komack over the creative direction of the show and opted not to take part in most of the shows from that final season as a result.
There had been stress between Kaplan and Strassman during the first three seasons, but they finally came together during the last season, talked and realized they were both being manipulated by Komack and ironed out their differences. Both of them spoke about this on the E True Hollywood Story and Behind The Sitcom Scandals.
And I do believe that Vinny's job as a hospital orderly was conjured up to account for his absences from the shows.

I was watching the episode with Jane Dulo in which Vinnie loses track of Mr. Woodman, who's a patient at the hospital, and most of the ep involves a search of the hospital ("Barbarino's Boo-Boo," Season 4, Episode 7).
Julie is seen in her new hairstyle, but Kotter has a fuller mustache than we've seen in the previous episodes they've aired (really trimmed down). Epstein's hair hasn't really gone shorter yet either. Since Kotter and Epstein haven't had trims, I believe this ep may have been one of the earliest produced for Season 4...?

Its worth noting that Barbarino's Boo Boo is the last time the entire cast were together in the same episode.

Just like in the fall of 1978, I am once again in love with fourth season Julie Kotter.
Shorter hair works on her, for some reason...and I generally prefer longer hair on women.
Uh yeah, what were we talking about again? ;)

I preferred her with the long hair and the glasses. She looked just like Bailey from WKRP.
