Angela.....she came off mean and didnt treat shawn that great imo....

Rachel. She didn't add anything to the series in my opinion.

Joshua. No point at all really. Rachel shook up Jack and Eric. Angela was Shawn first "real" love. Jack was a foil for Shawn. Lauren was only around as long as it made sense to add drama to The Cory/Topanga dynamic. Joshua just gave Amy and Alan more screen time when, by that point in the series, we really didn't need them around too much. They used him cleverly a couple times, but that whole section of characters was unnecessary at the time.
