"Bewitched for 50 Years" is not exactly correct! We've been "Bewitched Forever," to quote the title of Herbie J Pilato's book...and Erin Murphy is the only choice to host the special! (Wonder if David and/or Greg Lawrence, who played Adam, will appear?)

I saw Erin on Antenna TV today advertising this! She looks cute! Very good for a lady in her 40's ! Blonde and she basically looks like a grown up version of how she looked as a little girl! Wow, Tabitha is 40 something now!!!! Where does the time go?

Seriously?? Wow she is 50??? She looks great! I turned 52 in June, so I am two years older than Erin. I look pretty good for my age, but not as good as her! :) What day in June?

Erin (and I presume also her twin sister Diane): June 17, 1964.

GEMINI!!!! Very cool! ;) I'm June 10th! Us Gemini's are fun loving and stay youthful! ;)

By law, child actors have to be twins because they can't have one child work too many hours. Right? So I'm thinking mainly we saw Erin but sometimes Diane? That would be cool if Diane made an appearance on the 50 yr. anniversary marathon! :)

You're right, bonniegirl62. California child welfare laws restrict the appearance of infants and smaller children to 30 seconds on screen at any one time (especially back in the days of early TV shows). That's why Little Ricky's age was jumped a year at the start of "I Love Lucy's" sixth season...they could do more and longer scenes with kindergarten-age children than they could with toddlers.

In the case of "Bewitched," Erin and Diane Murphy were fraternal twins, not identical twins as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were on "Full House." Each girl could play the other when both were small, but as they grew older, Diane definitely looked different from Erin (Erin was blonde, Diane had brown hair). So after S4, it was Erin all the way.

I have been googling Erin and Diane! They do look similar but as you posted fraternal twins , not exactly alike! A recent pic of them, Diane has really dark short hair now. Did you know that there was one episode after Erin took over the role of Tabitha herself that Diane actually played Tabitha? Apparently Erin had the mumps and they had Diane in the episode instead. It was "Samantha fights city hall"! Apparently viewers very much noticed that Tabitha wasn't played by Erin in that ep., that it was indeed another little girl filling in! Haven't seen that one in a while. I'd love to see it, and notice the differences between the twins! :)

"Samantha Fights City Hall" actually aired last night on Antenna TV. I have to admit I was tired and did not notice that Tabitha was played by Diane. I saw it in the credits though. She is just in the opening act in the park.
