"CSI" Casts Mark Valley as Private Detective (and Potential Love Interest)

Mark Valley is going to Vegas: The ruggedly handsome TV actor is joining CBS’ "CSI".
The "Fringe" and "Human Target" actor has signed on for a recurring role this fall as a former detective who now works as a private investigator. When Valley’s partner goes missing, he teams with Finlay (Elisabeth Shue) to try and solve the case.
We’re told “while their relationship may be a bit prickly, the attraction between them is undeniable.”
"CSI" is entering its 15th season on a new night—Sundays at 10 p.m.—starting Sept. 28.
The veteran drama’s new spin-off, "CSI: Cyber" starring Patricia Arquette, is expected to debut midseason 2015.
