July 26, 2014
Similar to 20th Century Fox TV‘s "Bones" Comic-Con presentation, the "Family Guy" creators and cast also revealed a number of storylines for its upcoming season.
In no particular order, Meg (Mila Kunis) becomes a foot-fetish model, Stewie is impregnated with Brian’s baby, Jesus returns in the Christmas episode and “the guys help him get laid,” said executive producer Steve Callaghan.
And as discussed at TCA, there’s the episode where Peter tries to kick Liam Neeson’s ass. Other guests stars in addition to Neeson this season include Allison Janney, Julie Bowen, Lea Thompson and Jeff Garlin.
The toon’s director and producer Peter Shin confirmed that there’s a looming feature film, but it’s currently on hold while creator Seth MacFarlane directs Ted 2.
Said Shin, “We started some work on one a while ago, but it’s been put on hold. It might move forward in the future.”
Callaghan mentioned that the upcoming September 28 'The Simpsons Guy' is much in the vein of a film.
MacFarlane would also like to do a Star Trek parody much in the same way "Family Guy" did a send-up of Star Wars: A New Hope with its sixth season premiere Blue Harvest.
Airdate TBD.
A nice button during the Q&A included "The Simpsons" creator Matt Groening taking the mike and asking:
“Hey guys, what advice can you give a young, struggling animator? Please if you can kiss my ass a little more.”

king of comedy 07-27-2014, 06:48 AM I read about these before. They already did the foot fetish thing on King of the Hill. Stewie PREGNANT?!! WITH BRIANS' BABY?!! WTF?!! And I thought this past season was horrible!
Yong Fang 07-27-2014, 11:30 AM Family guy has always been "meh" to me, so ething to watch when there isn't anything else to watch.
James28 07-27-2014, 02:41 PM Stewie impregnated with Brian's baby? Another dumb-sounding plotline on FG? I would tune in to that episode just to see how they could possibly handle this.
Also, Meg becoming a foot-fetish model? I know it's already been done with Peggy on King of the Hill in 2000, with the "Peggy's Magic Sex Feet" episode.

treky 07-29-2014, 12:50 AM can't wait to see those Star Trek parodies since I'm a huge trekie!
Also the one where Stewie's pregnant with Brians baby sounds funny!
BachelorCat 07-30-2014, 03:00 PM It's strange, I love the Star Wars parodies, and the occasional Star Trek take off, but I'm not into any of the movie or TV series. I'm just not a fan of either, or any of the other space related shows.
But, as far as Family Guy goes, I still love it. However.....they need to ditch the mocking of God and Christ, and lay completely off the animal deaths. I'm not religious, or especially spiritual, but the first issue leaves me cold. NOT funny at ALL. Seth MacFarlane is funny enough without that. I can't deal with real animal deaths, I usually turn my head on the reruns when these show up. I never watch the episode where Peter accidentally kills Quagmire's cat when he shaves him. Give it all a rest MacFarlane.
treky 07-30-2014, 08:20 PM yea, I sort of have mixed feeling about the mocking of God and Christ.
king of comedy 07-31-2014, 07:18 AM Seth should keep both his religious and political views to himself. At least American Dad does politics right. Doggone would have been a better episode if there hadn't been any animal abuse. That scene with the dog left alone and he was scratching the door until his paws became bone was horrifying. Come to think of it, religion is handled better on American Dad too.

I hated when Peter killed Quagmire's cat. He showed now remorse. I'm glad Quagmire shot him. He deserved it.
Mace Dolex 07-31-2014, 06:07 PM I've already seen a sneak 5 minute preview of the Simpsons/Family Guy crossover and it just gets better every year.
At a time when most shows run out of steam after being on the for more than 10 years, Family Guy is still consistant and hilarious every time.
