Just a reminder that Freddie will be on TV Land today. They are airing the pilot show this afternoon. I am in Michigan and it comes on at 4:30 pm. The times will vary depending on where you live. I will enjoy it...I guess we have to take what we can get. Hope everyone gets a chance to tune in.

I was able to watch it Sunday. After church I went home to take Mike back home & change clothes as usual & go out to eat with my parents as usual. Since we don't get TVLAND anymore due to them scrambling on big satellite dishes & we can't find a descrambler for it, I had to watch it at my parents house. Feeling in a 70's mood, I wore a pantsuit that looked like something out of the 60's or 70's & some 60's/70's style necklaces, earrings & bracelets. One of the necklaces I actually had back in the 70's.

They showed ROCKFORD FILES, then ANDY GRIFFITH, ALL IN THE FAMILY, TAXI, CATM, & 2 LEAVE IT TO BEAVERS...

Oh what a joy to see Freddie on tv again! While TAXI was on, they showed a trivia question thing about Jack Albertson asking what movie he won an Acadamy Award for in the 60's & they showed a few clips of him with Freddie from the show in it. :) When he came on I got all sentimental & cried. Fortunately, I had the foresight to go get a hanky out of my purse before the show started just in case I cried which was a good thing cuz I needed it. I cried watching him while at the same time laughing at the funny stuff. My dad had fallen asleep in his lazyboy chair. He did wake up for a few minutes & looked at it like he didn't know what was going on & then drifted back to sleep. My mom said she woke up for a few minutes from her nap & caught a few minutes of it.

It was a wonderful 30 minutes as I went back in time to 1974 & Freddie being alive. :) When the show ended tho, I really cried cuz I realized Freddie was dead & the show wasn't on anymore & I had no idea when I'd see it again. :crying: I miss Freddie & the show so much... :crying:

When I got back home, Mike asked me about how I enjoyed watching it & I told him how much I loved watching & how much I missed the show & gave him all the details of that afternoons boxed set on TVLAND. I got all sad over Freddie tho & cired & had to get Mike to hold me. I was gonna lay down & take a nap so I went to do that. When I got on the bed I started looking at some of my pics of Freddie that are in my scrapbook of him. I got all sentimetal & sad looking at the pics of him & broke down & cried. I was sobbing my eyes out over the pics of him & putting a hanky to good use. Mike must've heard me cuz he came in the room & asked what was wrong. He figured out it was over Freddie & later left to go back to his ball game. I fell asleep on the bed napping finally & I think I dreamed about Freddie. I forget what the dream was about tho as it was foggy.

I miss Freddie & CATM so much... :crying:

I didn't get to see it when it aired! I had to work and didn't get off until after it was over. I work in a nursing home and the people that had their TV sets on didn't have it tuned to TV Land, either! (sometimes I can go and visit with my patients or watch some TV with them as long as all the work is caught up)

Oh well, I have it on video tape!
