Hey guys,
This past season, we witnessed 2 #1 Teams the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks battle for the Super Bowl as the Seahawks not only def. the Broncos to win their very 1st Super Bowl, but they also became the UNDISPUTED #1 Team in the 2013/2014 NFL Season
The Seahawks and Broncos had an overall Regular Season Record of 13-3
They were 7-1 @ home and 6-2 on the road
Their 3rd lost were their only lost @ home to their Division Rivals
The Broncos suffered their only lost @ home to the San Diego Chargers on the Season Finale of Thursday Night Football with a score of 27-20
The following week, the Seahawks also suffered their only lost @ home to the Arizona Cardinals with a score of 17-10
Their 2nd lost were also on the road to longtime rivals
The Broncos suffered their 2nd lost on NBC Sunday Night Football 4 days before Thanksgiving to the New England Patriots as the Patriots def. the Broncos in overtime in New England Territory with a score of 34-31 and it was the 14th Battle between 2 of the best Quarterbacks in the NFL Today: Peyton Manning and Tom Brady
2 weeks later, The Seahawks suffered their 2nd lost on the road to their longtime Division Rival the San Francisco 49ers as the 49ers def. the Seahawks in San Fran with a score of 19-17 with the return of Michael Crabtree
However, the Broncos and the Seahawks had 1 thing in common:
They both suffered their very 1st lost on the road to 1 team:
The Indianapolis Colts
Lead by Quarterback Andrew Luck, the Colts were able to give both the Seahawks and the Broncos their very 1st lost of the 2013 Regular Season
Week #5 of the NFL Season, the Seahawks were down by just 6 points and were in control of the ball, until Russell Wilson threw an Interception to Darius Butler @ the last play and as a result, lead to the Colts def. the Seahawks with a score of 34-28
2 weeks later on NBC Sunday Night Football, the Colts would do the same thing to the Denver Broncos when the Colts defense were just too much for Peyton Manning to handle as the Colts def. the Broncos 39-33
However, during the Divisional Playoffs, the Colts suffered an elimination as they lost to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots
and so, I ask you all this:
What were your thoughts on the Colts giving both the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos their 1st lost on the road in 2013?
also, what will it take for the Colts to defeat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots?
That's the Question!
Please share your thoughts on all of this
