Lay's is holding a contest where people vote on their favorite new flavor that were submitted by others.

Lay's chose these 4 new flavors after reading suggestions. People can vote from July 28 - Oct. 8 and the Million Dollar prize goes to the person who suggested the flavor.

the first one sounds nasty, second one is weird, whilst the other 2 flavours sounds nice.

EEEWWWWWW Can you imagine what chemicals, preservatives, and additives they're using that makes them bad for you.

I'll try the Cappuccino and Mac & Cheese ones, but I'll pass on the others since I don't care for wasabi, ginger and salsa.

The Bacon Mac & Cheese Chip would be the only one I'd try.

Wasabi would be good but not with ginger. I LOVE Wasabi on tortilla chips.

Funny thing, I considered suggesting "Brooklyn Egg Cream," but I turned down the idea. I like the idea of having an egg cream with my chips, but the idea of the chips and the drink being one in the same, sort of rubbed me the wrong way after a while.

I hardly eat chips anymore, but I can't see the idea of "Cappuccino chips". It sounds so....metrosexual. Fancy-schmancy coffee flavors--on fried potatoes. puke:

Chips are unhealthy with all that sodium and tons of preservatives. I just slice up a yam or sweet potato and bake it in the oven for half an hour. Sprinkle a little Mrs. Dash. :liplick:

I can sort of see mango for a Dorito's flavor, but for a potato chip?? :confused: Or for the Tostitos salsa would be good.

Regular Potato Chips are salty and (I think) I've put it in my ice cream once...you can even make cookies out of potato chips and chocolate-covered potato chips as well!

I've had those. A few other companies have made ketchup flavored potato chips, most notably Herr's.

Ok I work at a grocery store and they had all four kinds in the break room for us to try. I can now say that I ate a cappuccino potato chip, and I never want to eat another one. It was nasty. A girl at work said her friends submitted a bunch of joke flavors including one called "Dad's Disappointment" :lol: Quite frankly I bet that would taste better than the cappuccino one.

I tried the wasabi & ginger flavored one... Actually really good. Like sushi in a bag, but without the sushi itself. :lol: Haven't tried the others, but I'd like to.

I was at Walgreens earlier today and they had these chips on the counter. They had all but the Mac & Cheese one as (apparently) it's a big seller.

I bought the Cappuccino and Wasabi Ginger for my father to have. I tried the Cappuccino chips and it's weird because I like it and I don't. I like it because I love cappuccino, but I'm not sure I want it as a potato chip. I didn't eat the whole bag.

I'll give the Wasabi ones to my dad when I see him later and I'm looking out for the Mac & Cheese one. I have no interest in the Wasabi Ginger and Mango Salsa.

I ate a hot dog flavor within the past year or so. I think it was either Herr's or Snyder's. Not bad tasting at all...!

I work at a Walgreens and customers balk at the Cappuccino chips. The least bought of the four new Lays flavors. I think only one of my customers bought it and I congratulated her for being one of the first to try it. She smiled and said she wanted to try it out. The Bacon and cheese flavor is our best seller out of thenew Lays flavors.

The Kettle Cooked Wasabi/Ginger are legitimately good. The Bacon Mac & Cheese are just sort of there.

Cappucino is the worst potato chip flavor I have ever tasted in my life, and is the exception to the rule that you can't eat just one potato chip.

Haven't tried the mango salsa one

I have yet to try the Bacon Mac & Cheese flavor myself.

Big Lots had the full-sized bags of cappuccino chips marked down to $1.85. I bought 2 bags today and was not pleased. I had a coupon for $5.00 off a purchase of $15.00 so the chips were basically free but still nasty. puke:

I haven't tried any of the new chips yet. I try to always buy the baked lays though. Their BBQ flavor and Sour cream and onion are good!

A friend of mine had an interesting idea for the Cappuccino chips, smash them up and sprinkle them on ice cream.

I tried it and it's not too bad.

The Wasabi Ginger one was good...
The Mango Salsa one was good...
The Bacon Mac N Cheese one was good....
The Cappuchino one was just OK...but I wouldn't ever buy it again...
