(Blair Warner is sitting on a bench with her boyfriend, Shawn. They have been going out for a year and a half.)
B: Shawn..why do you have to go to California over spring break?
S: Blair, you know I have to visit my family!
B: But I want you to stay here with us!
S: I'll be back though, Blair..and I'll only be gone for 2 weeks.
B: Yeah..that's true..but still I'll miss you!
S: And I'll miss you too.
B: ::Smiles and kisses Shawn::
S: ::Kisses back::
((The house))
(Mrs. Garett is preparing dinner)
MG: Let's see. Put in oven for half an hour..
(Tootie comes in the kitchen)
T: Hey Mrs. G!
MG: Oh, hello, Tootie!
T: What are you doing?
MG: Just making dinner.
T: Ohhh..
MG: Where are the other girls?
T: Blair went out with Shawn, I don't know where Natalie is, and Jo is buying new bike parts.
MG: Well they better be home before dinner. This takes forever to make!
T: ::Smiles:: They will.
MG: You know what, I feel sorry for Blair.
T: Why?
MG: Shawn has to leave for spring break next week! For 2 weeks.
T: Oh..she's gonna miss him so much!
MG: I know, she wanted to go with him but she couldn't.
T: Why not?
MG: The plane was booked or something.
T: Oh.
(Later that day, in the girl's bedroom)
B: ::Walks in:: Hello, all.
N: Hey Blair, what's up?
B: I am soo happy! Shawn is taking me out somewhere tomorrow night, and he says its a "surprise"!
J: Uh..wasn't the last surprise he took you on to that five star dinner?
B: Yeah! That's why I am excited!
J: Ugh, I'd rather go to Burger King.
B: Figures.
N: Blair, you are so lucky you have someone like Shawn.
T: Too bad he has to go away for spring break.
B: Yeah, well I'm not worried about that anymore. I know he will be back.
J: Better hope something doesn't happen.
B:..what could happen?
J: Lots of things. He could cheat on you, the plane could crash..
B: ::Silent::
N: Jo! Don't say that, you know none of it will happen.
J: Well, everythings possible!
B: ::Runs out of the room::
T: Oh gosh..now look what you've done! ::Follows Blair::
((Living Room))
B: ::Quietly and softly crying on the couch::
T: Blair, don't let Jo bother you!
B: I'm not letting Jo bother me.
T: Then why are you so upset now?
B: Because what she said is true! What if that stuff does happen?!
T: Blair..you know it won't!!
B: No, I don't.
MG: ::Walks in:: Blair! What's wrong?
T: She's afraid something will happen to Shawn over spring break when he goes to California. Jo put the stupid idea of the plane crashing or him cheating on her in her head.
MG: Oh, Blair..don't believe her!
B: She isn't saying it will happen, she's just saying it could happen..and it's true, it could happen!!
MG: ::Sighs::
B: ::Puts head in her hands::
