View Full Version : Ruben Studdard cheated and should have been disqualified!!!
irehtman 07-21-2014, 07:12 AM I know he used his massive clout to annihilate the judges and the entire public and his massive clout is extremely bad.
I don't understand why his massive clout is 100% bad?!
I don't understand why he used his massive clout?!
I don't understand why they picked him in this contest for no reason at all?!
He should have been disqualified from this contest!
He should have never been chosen in this contest!
He should have never won Season 2!
He should have been eliminated in third place instead!
I agree that Clay Aiken should have won Season 2 instead and I have a feeling that Kimberley Locke should have ended up as Season 2's runner-up instead!!
I know it's too late to turn back the clock, but that Ruben winning Season 2 was the cause on letting this show down!
Zoneboy 07-21-2014, 10:36 AM I'll probably regret asking this but what the heck are you referring to when you say 'massive clout?'

I think he was getting FREE AOL internet at the time, and he had one of those cards from Subway where you get your 10th sandwich for free.

Edward216 09-02-2014, 10:58 PM Excuse me but Ruben Studdard won American Idol fair and square. Just because you don't like him doesn't mean he didn't deserve to win because he did. Clay Aiken was mediocre at best and entirely too nerdy looking.

Fair and square is intolerable! Ruben has terrible voice and a horrible single style and nobody should let him win that way.
We were thinking the judges were bad appraising him incorrectly, or we might think that the votes might be miscounted or on the bottom line, the press release may have appraised Ruben by voting him more in a rotten way.
I think it is not right for the press release to act rotten on American Idol in its second season because it will lose ratings that way.

That subway situation that you mentioned is completely farfetched from this topic!

Ruben Studdard earned his place in television history fair and square (and against incredible odds, I might add) so let it go. . .

I know we cannot re-write history, but you mentioning "Fair And Square" is 100% intolerable!
Ruben should have been ended up in third place instead. Clay should have won and Kimberley Locke should have been the runner-up instead!
Do you think that the press release appraised Ruben to win and act too despicable on both clay and kimberley?

maybe if you write an extremely long and detailed letter to Simon Cowell, explaining your points that you have raised here and back them up with cross-referenced footnotes and annotations he will use his massive clout and do a recount and reappraise the situation for much better felicitations.

He may have gotten fired from American Idol really bad, or there could another thing that the press release was watching Season 2 of American idol and appraised Ruben to win in very despicable way.
icecream 11-19-2014, 01:08 AM American Idol is just a big popularity contest. Someone winning a season doesn't necessarily mean they're the best. If any of the winners cheated it was Taylor Hicks, no way was he in his 20s.
EmoJoe 11-19-2014, 01:45 AM ...it's 2014
irehtman 11-19-2014, 09:35 AM "Someone winning a season doesn't necessarily mean they're the best."
Whatever you are saying cannot be that careless. Unfortunately that phrase was forcedly applied on american idol season 2.

Whatever you are saying cannot be that careless. Unfortunately that phrase was forcedly applied on american idol season 2.What I'm saying is that Idol is a giant popularity contest and the most popular often isn't the best singer. Take Scotty McCreary for instance. I didn't watch the season he won but had the misfortune of hearing him the last 2 years on the Capital 4th PBS program. Scotty is a terrible singer who was badly out of tune. That didn't stop him from winning, why? I'm sure there were others better than him but Scotty won because he was the most popular.
irehtman 11-19-2014, 03:42 PM Be careful about saying that phrase to all american idol fans catsrule, because it will turn American Idol more worser.
After Ruben won cheatingly, I have feeling that American Idol became a no-good reality show and it recieves too many bad reviews along the way. There could be a case that the strict press release was acting too despicable on this show by appraising more votes on Ruben.
Besides Scotty won after Ruben.
Impressions 12-06-2014, 03:31 PM Your claims are unsubstantiated, but that's not the point. A lot of people should have won idol, but got voted off quickly. Plus, just because someone won American Idol, doesn't mean they'll do better selling records. Clay was the clear winner in that realm. If he would have won, it would probably not had made a difference. A lot of people that didn't place first have had successful careers, so why do you care, and why are you bringing this up now? If he did cheat, he would have been caught by now anyway.

I don't know about this, Impressions. What you are trying is too lame and too extremely precarious. Whatever happened in that American Idol season 2 finale back down was both a terrible and a horrible letdown and it lost too many viewers along the way. Many prefer The Voice better than this show.
Edward216 02-28-2015, 05:29 AM I think Ruben Studdard has a great singing voice and he deserved to win American Idol. So, whatever you're going on about (I still don't understand really) we'll just have to agree to disagree. And I told a few people I know he was going to win from the very beginning! And I was right about that.

Have you lost your entire stupid mind completely, Edward216?!!!
Ruben's voice is too self-destructive to the entire American public, what in the world are you talking about?!!!
You think telling a few people that you know he was going to win from the very beginning is going to work?! It turns out that you are 100% WRONG after all!

irehtman 07-01-2015, 11:10 AM Ruben's now a deteriorated person currently.

Everything in your initial post was "lame" and "precarious." Just because you weren't a fan of his, doesn't mean you can discredit his win without any substantial evidence showing that he did cheat.
Yes, I know this is a 4 year old post but this just made me go: "Are you serious?"

Well now, it has been revealed that Simon Cowell despicably appraised Ruben in order to despicably frame FOX network as continuous local type rather than a global type. But there's a reason why Simon got fired in the middle of American Idol and was banned from the 15th season finale. Simon missed the point that there's a level between local and global, which is national. FOX is no longer a local network, even if it is still not yet a global network at all. FOX is still equally national to NBC, ABC and CBS. But well at least Harry Connick Jr. helped improve Ruben's return respectfully in the 15th season finale, which is good enough.
