Kevin Sorbo is one angry demigod. The star of the '90s syndicated hit "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" says he asked for a cameo in the upcoming Dwayne Johnson film, but was denied.
"I think it's kind of stupid really," he told Dish. "To not put me in a cameo is taking the business out of show business."
Sorbo says his team asked director Brett Ratner about appearing in the role.
"We approached the director. I don’t know what his reasons are. I don't know if it was political or ego or what it is? To not put me in for a stupid little cameo? The audience would have loved it."
Sorbo isn't the only one sore about the project.
Comic book writer Alan Moore is urging people to boycott the Paramount film for its relationship with the source material Hercules: The Thracian Wars.
