Mill Creek is re-releasing seasons 1-5 on DVD. I read somewhere that if they sell well, Sony may be able to license seasons 6-9 for them to release on DVD.

I'm not holding my breath but I'm hoping Mill Creek takes a stab at it and releases the rest.

Because Sony still cannot clear the rights for seasons 6-9. And Mill Creek is just re-releasing them to make money. I heard Mill Creek was able to release the fourth season of the show, Highway to Heaven, for the first time after re-releasing the first three seasons. Maybe the can do the same thing for The Facts of Life, The Jeffersons, Diff'rent Strokes, Benson, The Nanny and any other shows that Sony has not finished on DVD.

Shout! Factory announced at the San Diego Comic Con on Friday (on twitter as well) that the rest of "The Facts of Life" WILL be released on DVD by next year. If you don't believe me, check out these tweets!
