She had several people in the early seasons she dated, like the guy in Ground Rules, and her old high school sweetheart, and the guy she met at her flower shop in The Harder They Fall. They were all duds, but Chrissy didn't have a great track record, either.

There was also "Make Room for Daddy," where Janet dates an older man and they seem to hit it off. And of course there is the guy she dates during "Janet Wigs Out".....it was mentioned they had been together two weeks. Who knows WHAT Janet did with that wig on, lol. In fact, I would say she would've been more evenly matched with someone older and more, um, mature than a young, dumb, and full of **** kind of guy.

It's strange how much has changed in society that the mere mention of condom or women on the pill was taboo on TV back, were the girls using the pill, was Jack practicing safe sex? these are things better left to the imagination.

Actually, that's clarified in the episode "Stanley's Hotline." Linda was known to be sexually active, with Jack, no less. But, when she moved in with the gang, she and Jack agreed to put their sexual relationship on hold, in the interest of not pooping where you eat. Basically, the idea is that if you are going to share the bills and the chores and all of that, you shouldn't have sex or romance with each other unless you have some level of commitment. Having a shared living arrangement makes detaching much more complicated if the relationship goes south. So that's Linda's reasoning. I think there was also a season 1 episode, in which Janet explained that if Jack was involved with one of them it would make things awkward for the other girl. You may or may not agree with their reasoning, but they do definitely have reasons for having a platonic roommate relationship that are independent of their overall views on relationships.
