When my girlfriend's brother died last year he was cremated and his prosthetic leg was given back to the VA so that someone else could use it. There are people that will sell used artificial limbs on Ebay. Also, I seriously doubt that a pacemaker could be removed from anyone that has died without permission from the family.

I was thinking of burials but what you said makes sense.

This might sound morbid or irreverent but my dad wanted one of us to pull out his gold crowns out of his mouth when he died. We didn't do that of course:lol: Actually gold crowns have very little gold in them and aren't worth much.
