Whats ur favorite place to go on vacation?

When I was young, I'd spent my 3 months of summer in Poland on my grandma's farm. Ah, I loved the open space and acres of fields and beautiful mountains. Last tme I was there was in 1998 and I miss it. :( I need to go back soon.

Well out of Cape Cod, New Hampshire, and Upstate New York...

Wow they were all fun. I mean, in Michigan I got to DRIVE, and Florida is just plain fun, Pennsylvania was fun b/c we wen to Hershey Park, 1000 Islands was fun (both times) b/c 1st time we stayed in a mansion :D and 2nd time Jackie and I got the WHHHOOOLE swimming area and computer room to ourselfs!!!!! but night was scawwy (we thought someone was walking in the woods, it was just dave walkin the dog LOL). North Carolina was... well, I'll give it this- interesting.

My favorite place for vacation has got to be Montana I've been there 6 times and that's where my brothers wife is from she lives about 5 miles from the Canadian boarder so everytime we go up to her place we usually go into Canada. But this coming summer we want to go back up there and maybe go to Glacier National Park and up to Lake Louise that would be so awsome, my brothers wife has been there and she says it's very beautiful there so I can't wait.

I don't know. I would like to go somewhere that has a bit of snow but that isn't freezing cold. Is that possible? I don't think it is...hmph.

We usually go to the Ozarks, which is fun but gets old after a while. So this year we're going to Florida.

I love Las Vegas!!! It's pretty fun there...even though there isn't much for kids to do. i still love it tho, don't ask me why.

I think it is possible but I guess that depends on your definition of freezing cold. You could take a vacation to a mountain resort in Colorado. There's plenty of snow and Colo has 300+ days of sunshine a year. Granted it is cold during a snowstorm but it's very likely that the next day will be a beautiful sunny day with a temperature of maybe 30 degrees and a foot of fresh powder on the ground. I don't consider that very cold but some people might. I think it's the perfect kind of day for playing in the snow. :cool:

I love going to Las Vegas and Niagara Falls. I've had the best vacations there.

BUT, I am going to go to Las Vegas in 2 years! :dance: :)

Oh gawd damnit I feel so left out. I've never been anywhere exciting! My parents keep saying we are going to Flordia but we never get there. That's it. When I get my hot pink Mary-Kay lady convertable at 16, I'm taking a well deserved roads trip to.....

:lol: Whew! 30 degrees is considered warm. I better start packing some mighty warm clothes, because playing in the snow sounds mighty fun. Colorado here I come;)

AHHHHHHHHH NO WAY!!!!!! TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!! My parents won't go this summer I already asked. But I think I convinced them to take me next summer. Finally.

I'd love to go back to Europe someday. I spent 6 weeks there in 95' and it was so much fun. Florida is nice too. I wish I knew someone who lives there so I can go down there more often.

:lol: If it gets too much warmer than that the snow will get all slushy and start to melt.:D
Seriously, even if you are used to warmer weather, I think you would be pleasantly surprised at how nice it can be, if it is a bright sunny day and you are bundled up. It might be chilly but I don't think you would be freezing cold?? Of course, this is all just a guess on my part so I could easily be wrong.

I love St. Petersburg Beach, FL. Even though I hate the beach. Um... the only other places I've been are Cleveland, Nashville, and Pidgeon Forge, TN. I liked Nashville best out of the three but I think that was just because I went with a friend instead of my family (I hate travelling with my famiy). Anyway, we don't go on vacation anymore. We used to go to St. Pete every year but we've stopped for some reason. I've been TRYING to get them to take me to Disney World, as I've never been, but my mom doesn't want to go.

It's true, sunny days in places like 'Colorado are in the high elevation are warm and comfortable inspite of the snow. Maybe the dry air makes it seem warmer than the temperature would lead you to expect.

Where did you go in Europe? I plan on going this May. Just curious where all you've been. I'm planning on going to London, Scotland, Paris, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Germany.

As for my favorite spot....I honestly don't think I have one. I love to travel and jump at the chance to go anywhere. Of the places I've been that stand out though, I'd have to say

Carowinds Amusement Park (the only reason this place is special is because the border of NC/SC runs through the park and I thought that was really cool as a little kid.)

Oh, and I liked Indianapolis, but last time we were there, the basketball tourneys were in town and the hotel guests partied ALL NIGHT in the hotel. :mad:
